Case Manager

As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for daily interactions with existing and potential clients, both via telephone and in person. Your duties will include ordering medical records from providers, obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. You will also work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files, maintain organized case files, and prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under the direct supervision of an attorney. Managing case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney will also be part of your responsibilities.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least 2 years of working in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience is preferred. The role requires the ability to be a team player, proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, and the capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at least 35 words per minute is required.
