Case Manager

As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, assisting attorneys in developing settlements, and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. Your role will involve daily interactions with existing and potential clients, ordering medical records, obtaining documents to support injury and liability positions, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, you will negotiate case settlements, maintain organized case files, and manage cases from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or Prelitigation Paralegal. A minimum of 2 years working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is strongly preferred. Key skills include the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute is required.
