Case Manager (Workers Compensation)
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager specializing in Workers' Compensation to join their team in West Los Angeles. This role is integral to the firm's mission of advocating for clients against insurance companies and large corporations. The Case Manager will work closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management and client satisfaction.
The primary responsibilities include acting as a liaison between clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB). The Case Manager will gather relevant documentation such as reports and records, monitor the progress of medical treatments, track case deadlines and hearings using case management software, and provide exceptional client service by keeping clients informed about case progress and explaining procedures and timelines.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and have strong writing and communication skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are also required.
The position offers an hourly wage of $30, along with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
