The Case Operations Manager, Complex Litigation at Morgan & Morgan serves as the mini-COO of cases, working directly with leadership to drive the effective and efficient progression of client cases from sign-up to settlement. This role requires operational excellence, a strategic mindset, and the empathy to influence and lead within the Complex Litigation practice, which represents tens of thousands of clients annually against the largest companies in the U.S.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all case operations by developing, implementing, and driving adoption of tools and processes necessary for case teams to work up client cases. The manager collaborates with Legal Leadership to manage timelines, pace, and scope of case work against deadlines, owns inventory reporting to provide transparency into work status, and partners with Product, Legal, Marketing, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot obstacles and devise creative solutions. Additionally, the role involves developing communication programs to deliver a world-class client experience and overseeing staffing needs, including training and onboarding of new case team members.

The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of experience in operations, general management, or litigation case management. They should have excellent problem-solving and structured thinking skills, exceptional ability to synthesize information and deliver actionable plans, advanced analytical skills with experience in data-driven recommendations, and comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced environment across multiple high-priority projects. Bonus qualifications include prior experience as a paralegal with over 2 years of litigation experience, experience with Salesforce, and experience in a startup or high-growth company environment.
