Chemist - ICPMS

Eurofins is seeking a Chemist specializing in Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) to join our team in Mumbai, India. The Chemist will be responsible for preparing samples to determine heavy metals, micro minerals, and minerals in food and agricultural samples, adhering to ISO, IS, and customer-specific requirements using methods such as ISO, AOAC, and IS, and utilizing microwave digestion techniques. Additional duties include maintaining standard reference materials, chemicals, reagents, and glassware, overseeing instruments related to metal analysis, and managing samples throughout the analysis process.

Candidates should possess a B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry and have 3-4 years of experience working in a food testing laboratory. Proficiency in handling ICP-MS equipment and conducting method validation for heavy metals analysis is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are also required.
