Client Development Manager
The Client Development Manager at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the team, responsible for leading an agency portfolio to create and convert outcome-focused opportunities for clients. This position involves close collaboration with Advanced Programmatic teams to drive client-centric initiatives and develop strong relationships with agency and client stakeholders. The role requires a blend of technical operations knowledge and commercial acumen to build credibility and deliver effective solutions.
Key responsibilities include actively supporting agency new business pitches and digital transformation projects, assisting the Director in expanding agency utilization of WPP Media Solutions' proprietary media, commerce, and tech offerings, and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of programmatic media aspects such as supply, ad tech, data optimization, auction mechanics, tagging and tracking, dynamic creative, measurement, brand safety, viewability, audiences, and analytics. The role also involves evaluating opportunities for feasibility, managing client expectations, delivering high-quality pitch materials, developing client development plans, and building strong, trusted relationships with clients and agencies.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a media agency or publisher environment. A background in programmatic media or sales, coupled with a passion for presentations, is highly desirable.
