This role is available in multiple locations, including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Augusta, and Columbia, SC. The Closing Specialist will play a crucial role in resolving outstanding bills and liens on settled cases, ensuring clients receive the maximum compensation possible.

In this position, the Closing Specialist will monitor outstanding requests to resolve trust balances, review case facts to determine necessary payments, and communicate with medical providers and various lien holders to negotiate balances. A strong understanding of lien laws across different jurisdictions is essential. The role also involves collaborating with team members to foster a learning environment, communicating with case staff on trust disbursements, providing clear direction to accounting on disbursements, and developing strategies to maximize clients' share of any funds held.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 2 years of paralegal or litigation experience in the personal injury industry is required. Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills are necessary. A working knowledge of lien laws across the country is important, along with the ability to work both independently and in a group setting. Candidates should be adaptable, curious, and capable of creatively solving problems in an evolving space, managing complexity while maintaining balance.
