Collaborating Physician (1099 Contract) – Virtual Women’s Health
Midi Health is seeking licensed physicians to serve as Collaborating Physicians for our Nurse Practitioners. This remote, 1099 contract role focuses on fulfilling the legal and administrative requirements of Nurse Practitioner collaboration agreements in applicable states. The position does not involve direct patient care or daily operational supervision.
Key responsibilities include entering into Nurse Practitioner collaboration agreements as mandated by state law, maintaining active medical licensure in good standing throughout the agreement period, and participating in state-specific administrative requirements as necessary. This role is designed to support access to women's health care without providing direct clinical services.
Candidates must be Board-Certified MDs or DOs with active, unrestricted medical licenses in California, Texas, Virginia, or Ohio. A willingness to serve as the collaborating physician of record for Nurse Practitioners and comfort in a non-clinical, administrative role are essential. Additionally, candidates should agree to cover at least 50% of collaborating physician slots in states where Midi operates and maintain licensure and required documentation throughout the contract period.
Compensation is paid monthly per full-time equivalent (FTE), with rates of $300 per FTE per month in California and $200 per FTE per month in Texas, Virginia, and Ohio. Paid training is provided. This asynchronous, remote-friendly role offers flexibility to fit alongside other professional commitments.
