Collaborating Physician (1099 Contract) – Virtual Women’s Health
Midi Health is seeking licensed physicians to serve as Collaborating Physicians for our Nurse Practitioners. This role is ideal for physicians who want to support access to care for women without providing direct clinical care or daily operational supervision. The responsibility of this role is to fulfill the legal and administrative requirements of NP collaboration agreements in applicable states.
Key responsibilities include entering into Nurse Practitioner collaboration agreements as required by state law, maintaining active licensure in good standing for the duration of the agreement, and participating in state-specific administrative requirements as applicable. This is an asynchronous, remote-friendly 1099 role that fits easily alongside other professional work.
Required qualifications include being a Board-Certified MD or DO with an active, unrestricted, unencumbered medical license in California, Texas, Virginia, or Ohio. Candidates must be willing to serve as a collaborating physician of record for Nurse Practitioners and be comfortable in a non-clinical, administrative role. Additionally, there is an expectation to cover at least 50% of collaborating physician slots in states where Midi operates and to maintain licensure and required documentation throughout the contract period.
Compensation for this 1099 contract role is as follows: $300 per FTE per month in California, and $200 per FTE per month in Texas, Virginia, and Ohio. Training is paid, and payments are made monthly per FTE. This role offers no direct patient care, no call, is fully remote within the U.S., and provides a mission-driven impact on women's health.
