Commercial Activation Associate
The Commercial Activation Associate at Ozow plays a pivotal role in ensuring newly onboarded small to mid-tier merchants successfully activate and begin transacting on the Ozow platform. This position serves as the primary point of contact for these merchants, guiding them from onboarding through to their first transaction. In this role, the associate will drive activation rates within defined timeframes, aiming to increase the Time-to-First-Transaction (TTFT) efficiency across the merchant base. They will proactively engage and nurture merchants, providing guidance on integration, setup, and usage of the platform. Collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success is essential to ensure a seamless merchant experience. Additionally, the associate will track and report on merchant activation metrics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any blockers and optimize activation strategies.
Ideal candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, onboarding, or merchant services within fintech, payments, or SaaS sectors. A strong understanding of payment platforms, integrations, or digital commerce ecosystems is crucial. Experience working with small to mid-sized merchants and a data-driven mindset with the ability to track and interpret KPIs are also important. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
