Commercial Counsel

Adaptive Biotechnologies is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. As a commercial-stage biotechnology company, we focus on translating the genetics of the adaptive immune system into clinical products to diagnose and treat disease. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission by providing legal support across various commercial functions.

The Commercial Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, collaboration agreements, and licensing deals. Additionally, the role involves advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance matters related to commercial operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and applicable laws.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial law, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, is required. Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
