As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen brigade to deliver high-quality dishes that meet the company's standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing ingredients before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, and ensuring that each plate is presented according to company specifications. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas, adhering to hygiene and food safety protocols, and assisting with receiving and storing deliveries are also key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong desire to learn and grow within a professional kitchen environment. While previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not essential. A positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are highly valued. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
