Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst at SRS Acquiom plays a pivotal role within the Contract Administration department, focusing on the meticulous review and analysis of the company's contractual obligations as they pertain to the distribution of transaction considerations and funds. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships post-closing, serving as the primary point of contact for the Shareholder Representative Services product. The analyst oversees a portfolio of post-closing distribution releases, conducts in-depth reviews of transactional agreements to fully understand contractual obligations, and coordinates with internal teams to create accurate distribution waterfalls. Additionally, the role involves drafting transactional instructions, performing due diligence on post-closing M&A activities, and effectively communicating with external parties to enforce and execute the release of escrow funds or holdbacks.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, along with 3-5 years of experience in the financial services sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to interpret complex contracts are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as the role involves interaction across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is also crucial.
