Compliance Manager (Environment and Construction)
Axiom Talent Platform is seeking a Compliance Manager specializing in Environment and Construction to support a leading Australian property developer. This full-time, long-term position is based in the Sydney metropolitan area. The role involves ensuring compliance with property, building, safety, and regulatory requirements, including the Building Code of Australia (BCA), state legislation, and local council regulations.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and conducting routine property inspections, compliance audits, and risk assessments to identify and resolve non-compliance issues promptly. The Compliance Manager will also manage essential services and maintenance compliance programs, such as fire safety certifications, electrical compliance, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) obligations. Overseeing the procurement, scheduling, performance, and compliance of external contractors and service providers is also a critical aspect of the role.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in compliance, facilities management, property management, building operations, or a related field within the real estate sector. A strong working knowledge of Australian building regulations, BCA/NCC requirements, WHS legislation, and state-specific compliance frameworks is essential. Experience in managing audits, inspections, contractor performance, and regulatory reporting requirements is also required.
