Computer Vision Specialist (Robotics)

Hyphen Connect is seeking a skilled Computer Vision Specialist to join our dynamic robotics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our robotic systems through high-fidelity spatial mapping and real-time object recognition, directly contributing to the enhancement of our automation capabilities.

As a Computer Vision Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include implementing high-fidelity spatial mapping and real-time object recognition pipelines. You will integrate vision systems directly with robotic manipulation and navigation controls, ensuring seamless operation. Additionally, you will train and fine-tune Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models to improve the interaction between our robots and their environments.

The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in 3D Gaussian Splatting, Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs), and modern Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithms. Experience with multimodal spatial AI frameworks is essential. Previous work integrating computer vision outputs with ROS2 or robotic hardware is highly desirable.
