Consultant Dermatologist
Eurofins CRL Cosmetics, LLC is seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist to serve as a Principal Investigator for clinical studies of personal care and cosmetic products in Winston-Salem, NC. This part-time consulting role offers professionals the opportunity to contribute their expertise to ensure consumer product safety.
Key responsibilities include reviewing study protocols, amendments, and completed study reports, as well as documenting observations and results of in-lab dermal evaluations at specified time points. The consultant will also manage any noted deviations or adverse events. Other Principal Investigator responsibilities will be handled by the highly qualified lab team.
The position requires conducting 2-6 studies per year, typically involving 1 to 2 days in the lab per study, with each day lasting 4-8 hours. The amount of time in the lab depends on the number of subjects needing evaluation. The remainder of the work can be performed remotely from home or the office. Dermal evaluations focus on erythema, edema, and dryness.
Compensation for this role reflects the limited Principal Investigator responsibilities, with on-site time compensated at $120 per hour and remote signatures at $150 each.
