Contract Recruiter
Nabis is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join our People Team on a six-month contract, with the potential for full-time conversion as the company continues to grow. This role will focus on sourcing and recruiting across Nabis' entire landscape, from hourly operations positions to salaried roles across multiple departments. The Recruiter will play a pivotal role in strengthening our candidate pipeline, enhancing the overall candidate experience, and contributing to our employer branding efforts to showcase Nabis as a top place to work in the cannabis industry.
Key responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruiting for all Nabis roles, including posting, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication. The Recruiter will proactively source, engage, and pre-screen candidates for salaried roles across multiple departments, building a strong, high-quality talent pipeline. Partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and create effective sourcing and recruiting strategies is essential. Additionally, the Recruiter will deliver an excellent candidate experience from first touch through offer acceptance and support employer branding initiatives, including job postings, social content, and candidate communications that reflect Nabis’ culture and values.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in high-volume or operations-focused environments. Experience sourcing and managing candidates through ATS platforms, with a preference for Greenhouse, is required. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, are essential. The candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and possess a team-oriented mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach. Prior experience in cannabis, logistics, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
Compensation for this role is $30-$60 per hour, depending on experience, with the contract duration from May to November 2026. There is potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs.
