Contractor, Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Lila Sciences is seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. This role is integral to our mission of accelerating scientific discovery through AI-powered autonomous scientific discovery infrastructure. The Sourcer will collaborate closely with two internal recruiters, focusing on our Autonomous Science Platform (ASP) and Go-to-Market, Product, and G&A functions. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse hiring initiatives, from mapping landscapes for senior scientific hires to building pipelines for engineering and business roles.

The primary responsibilities include building and maintaining targeted pipelines for scientific, engineering, and business roles, identifying and engaging passive candidates through tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem, representing Lila at recruiting events and career fairs, and conducting market research to surface competitive insights. Additionally, the Sourcer will screen inbound applications and provide structured fit notes to support efficient recruiter handoff.

Candidates should possess over five years of experience in sourcing or recruiting, with a proven track record of identifying passive candidates. Experience managing multiple priorities across various recruiters or business units is essential. Depth in technical sourcing across engineering, science, and IT, along with familiarity with biotech, life sciences, or deep tech, is highly desirable. Strong written communication skills, proficiency with Greenhouse and LinkedIn Recruiter, and a genuine enthusiasm for Lila's mission are also required.
