The Coordinator, OOH Activation at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the media planning team, focusing on the execution and management of out-of-home (OOH) and print advertising campaigns. This position is based in Toronto, Canada, and operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring approximately four days per week in the office.

In this role, the Coordinator will oversee the end-to-end execution of OOH and print campaigns, including issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), confirming installations, and monitoring ongoing placements. Collaboration with WPP agencies is essential to align campaign objectives with creative strategies. The Coordinator will also liaise with media vendors and printers to secure ad space, confirm inventory availability, and ensure production deadlines are met. Additional responsibilities encompass building and maintaining strong vendor relationships, coordinating Point of Purchase (POP) and glamour shoots, drafting Media Planning Agreements (MPAs), creating tactical plans and billing schedules, processing media buys, managing contracts, tracking invoices, and compiling post-campaign reports to evaluate effectiveness.

Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field, with 1–3 years of experience in advertising, media planning, or marketing coordination. Agency experience and financial knowledge are considered strong assets. The role demands superior project management and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary for frequent negotiations and stakeholder updates. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Co-Pilot, is required.
