Corporate Counsel - Remote

Seamless is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Corporate Counsel to lead the company's legal operations, global privacy program, and contract management processes. This role involves close collaboration with the COO, business teams, and external counsel to develop compliant solutions that support business growth.

Key responsibilities include executing global privacy compliance efforts such as GDPR and CPRA, managing privacy operations including data protection impact assessments and data subject rights, and aligning privacy practices with business objectives. The Corporate Counsel will also lead the negotiation of commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, and data licenses, maintain internal negotiation standards, streamline contract lifecycle management, and advise on product and platform legal matters.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state, and 3-5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company. Deep knowledge of federal, state, and global privacy laws, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience with SaaS procurement models and public APIs are essential. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is a strong plus.
