Corporate Counsel
Similarweb is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its Legal Department in Tel Aviv. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's strategic and operational initiatives, including global corporate governance, complex data and compliance matters, and high-impact mergers and acquisitions. The Corporate Counsel will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to prioritize work based on urgency, risk, and business impact.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing global corporate and operational legal matters, such as insurance programs, vendor negotiations, and cross-border subsidiary issues. The role also involves playing a central part in mergers and acquisitions, investments, and other strategic transactions—from structuring and due diligence through negotiation, closing, and post-merger integration. Additionally, the Corporate Counsel will advise on global corporate governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions and draft, review, negotiate, and close commercial contracts with customers, partners, resellers, data licensors, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years of experience in commercial, corporate, and/or transactional law, including time at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a global technology company. They should be comfortable operating independently across a broad scope of legal matters, with sound judgment and strong prioritization skills. Hands-on experience with mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, or complex cross-border projects is essential. Familiarity with data protection, compliance, due diligence questionnaires, and emerging AI-related legal considerations is advantageous. The candidate should thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
