Corporate Paralegal
True Anomaly, a defense technology company specializing in space security, is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join its Legal Department. This role is based in New York, NY, or available for remote work. The Corporate Paralegal will provide comprehensive support across all legal functions, reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Legal. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of managing compliance-driven workstreams, and adept at handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include drafting, revising, formatting, and proofreading legal documents such as contracts, subcontracts, amendments, NDAs, and internal memoranda. The Corporate Paralegal will coordinate execution logistics, including signature routing, notarization, and record retention. Additional duties involve scheduling and supporting legal meetings, preparing agendas and materials, and filing corporate annual reports and other required regulatory filings applicable to government contractors. The role also entails maintaining calendars for regulatory and compliance deadlines, managing entity registrations, and serving as the primary administrator for contract lifecycle management and contract review platforms.
Candidates should possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, with a paralegal certificate preferred. A minimum of 3–7 years of experience as a corporate or government contracting paralegal, preferably in an in-house environment, is required. Experience supporting government contracts, subcontracts, or regulated industries is essential, along with familiarity with FAR/DFARS structure and government contractor compliance requirements. Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems, document management platforms, and legal technology tools is necessary, as well as strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document comparison/redlining tools.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, along with equity and benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, HRA/HSA options, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and parental leave. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, location, and experience.
