Counsel / Attorney - Antitrust & Compliance

Continental is seeking a Counsel/Attorney specializing in Antitrust & Compliance to join its legal team. This role involves providing strategic legal advice on antitrust and competition law matters across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring the company's operations align with regulatory standards. The position is based at Continental Tire the Americas, LLC, a leading tire manufacturer with a global presence.

Key responsibilities include advising on antitrust issues related to commercial activities, strategic initiatives, and market entry. The role also supports mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions by conducting antitrust risk assessments and managing interactions with competition authorities. Additionally, the attorney will assist in refining and maintaining the company's antitrust compliance program, conducting risk assessments, and delivering tailored training to employees.

The ideal candidate holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of seven years of experience as an attorney in a corporation, law firm, or both, with a proven track record in antitrust, data privacy, and compliance, is required. Strong experience in antitrust and competition law, along with the ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear business guidance, is essential.
