Country Lead DACH
Alma31 is a European leader in payment by installments, helping merchants grow by giving their customers more flexibility at checkout online, in-store, and remote. Founded in 2018, Alma31 serves over 25,000 merchants across Europe and is expanding rapidly into new markets. The company is headquartered in Paris, France, and is seeking a Country Lead for the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region to drive its growth and operations in these key markets.
As the Country Lead DACH, you will be responsible for building and leading the local sales team, including recruiting and scaling Account Executives for both enterprise and mid-market segments. You will set hiring standards, manage, coach, and develop your team, and remain personally involved in strategic enterprise opportunities. Additionally, you will own the country's business performance, including total payment volume (TPV), revenue growth, cost management, contribution margin, and profitability trajectory. Your role will also involve defining and executing the local go-to-market strategy, adapting Alma31's playbook to local dynamics, and driving cross-functional collaboration to meet market needs.
To be considered for this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in B2B commercial roles, with a proven track record in enterprise sales and managing sales teams. Fluency in German and professional-level English are mandatory. Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services is highly desirable. You should be comfortable operating in a matrix environment and have a strong local network in commerce, retail, or adjacent sectors.
