Courier Driver - Sample Collection
Eurofins is seeking a dedicated Courier Driver to join our Food team in Dandenong South, Australia. This role involves the daily collection and delivery of samples from various locations, including metropolitan areas and regional countryside sites, ensuring their timely and safe transportation to our laboratory. Key responsibilities include collecting and transporting samples from multiple sites to our laboratory in Dandenong South, ensuring proper handling, packaging, and documentation to maintain quality and compliance. The role also involves performing basic administrative tasks such as sample registration, data entry via Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and labeling when required. Additionally, the Courier Driver will plan and manage efficient driving routes to meet scheduled collection and delivery times, conduct regular vehicle inspections, and ensure the courier vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent TAFE qualification, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office. The role requires the ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and the physical capability to lift and carry packages up to 20 kg. Previous experience in courier driving or sample pickup is preferred, and experience in reception or administrative roles is a plus. Familiarity with laboratory environments is beneficial but not required.
