Crystallization Scientist
Eurofins is seeking a Crystallization Scientist to join our team in Groton, Connecticut. This role focuses on developing and optimizing crystallization processes for pharmaceutical products, contributing to our mission of ensuring product safety and efficacy.
The Crystallization Scientist will design and conduct laboratory experiments, including solubility screenings, kinetic solubility assessments, and laboratory-scale crystallization trials. Responsibilities also encompass generating solid-state characterization data using powder X-ray diffraction and analyzing product samples for physical properties such as particle size distribution and shape.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field. Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, coupled with adaptability and a positive attitude, is highly valued.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $56,600 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.
