Capital on Tap is seeking a part-time Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be the first point of contact for our small business customers, providing friendly and professional support across phone, email, and live chat channels. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a company dedicated to simplifying financial services for small businesses.

In this role, you will take full ownership of customer inquiries from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring efficient and effective problem-solving. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include understanding customer concerns, delivering practical solutions, staying updated on our products and policies, and proactively identifying ways to enhance the customer experience. Additionally, you will recognize customers who may require extra support and ensure they receive the necessary assistance.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, preferably within a call center or financial services environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with sound judgment and confidence in handling complex or sensitive customer inquiries. You should demonstrate the ability to manage a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy and quality, possess a proactive attitude focused on first-contact resolution, and exhibit empathy and a genuine passion for helping people. The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a fast-paced team environment is also important.
