Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, a leader in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, within a flexible full-time schedule. As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to ensure readiness for rental, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and conducting reminder and collection calls to assist customers with payments. Maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of the facility is also a key part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle for travel between work locations are required, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items up to 35 pounds and to spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Compensation for this position is $15.50 per hour, with performance-based bonuses available. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
