Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading provider in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards and our customers receive exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs and recommending appropriate solutions, including the sale of packing and moving supplies. The manager will conduct daily inspections of storage units to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready for rental. Additional duties involve auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payment reminders and collection calls as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle are required for travel between different work locations and for conducting work-related business, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Compensation for this full-time position is $17.00 per hour. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
