Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading provider in the self-storage industry, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional storage solutions to our customers.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to ensure readiness for rental, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds, and spending up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments, which may involve climbing stairs and opening large doors. Additionally, performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks to maintain the facility's appearance is expected.
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00, with flexible schedules between 9:00 am and 7:30 pm on weekdays, and until 6:30 pm on weekends.
