Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading self-storage provider, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to ensure readiness, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments and collections. Maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the facility is also a key part of the role.
The ideal candidate has experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service industries. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as the role involves traveling between different work locations. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend significant time walking around the facilities, including climbing stairs and performing maintenance tasks.
This full-time position offers a starting wage of $15.50 per hour, with flexible schedules between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm (weekends until 5:00 pm).
