Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage, the leading provider in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer service and facility management.
As a Self Storage Manager, you will assess customer storage needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting storage units to ensure readiness for rental, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurants, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of your own vehicle are required for travel between work locations, with mileage reimbursement provided. Physical requirements include the ability to lift items up to 35 pounds and spend up to 50% of your time in outdoor environments, performing tasks such as climbing stairs and opening large doors.
Compensation for this position is $15.50 per hour. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week become eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
