Customer Service - Self Storage Manager
Public Storage is seeking a Customer Service - Self Storage Manager to join our team. As the industry leader in self-storage, we offer flexible full-time schedules between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm, with weekend hours until 5:00 pm. This role provides an opportunity to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors.
Key responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and selling packing and moving supplies. Daily tasks involve inspecting storage units to ensure readiness for rental, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and assisting customers with payments, including making reminder and collection calls as necessary.
Candidates should have experience in customer service-oriented sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based industries. A valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle for work-related travel are required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.00. Employees working an average of 20+ hours per week are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, sick time, and flexible spending accounts.
