Data Analyst - ZA Marketplace

ClearScore is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Cape Town team, focusing on the ZA Marketplace. This role involves delivering insights and analyses to support ClearScore's rapid growth and enhance user experience. As part of a collaborative analytical community comprising Data Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers, the successful candidate will contribute to strategic decision-making that benefits users, partners, and internal teams.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for building and owning marketplace performance reporting across conversion, eligibility, and revenue metrics. Key duties include partnering with Product and Commercial teams to generate insights that shape marketplace strategy, designing and analyzing experiments to improve ranking and user journeys, and conducting deep-dive analyses to identify growth opportunities within the marketplace funnel.

Candidates must possess strong SQL and Excel skills, with knowledge of dbt, Python, and analytical tools such as Amplitude considered advantageous. Experience with data visualization tools like Domo or Tableau is also desirable. The role requires strong quantitative and numerical abilities, effective workload planning and prioritization skills, and a collaborative mindset with a desire to contribute to ClearScore's culture.
