Data Configuration Specialist

The Data Configuration Specialist at Eurofins is responsible for configuring the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) databases throughout the duration of clinical studies, ensuring alignment with clinical protocols and global procedures. This role involves performing quality control checks and ensuring that electronic data generated is accurately transferred to clients as per specified data requirements.

Key responsibilities include setting up databases according to client protocols, configuring study-specific requirements in LIMS for central laboratory testing—such as visit schedules, testing panels, and flagging—and collaborating with project management, laboratory teams, IT, and clients. The specialist must be aware of key study milestones, prioritize study activities to meet timelines, format databases as required, ensure correct configuration of LIMS and other systems in line with study priming documents, and maintain complete and current version-controlled data study files.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Essential skills include proactivity, professionalism, quality orientation, customer focus, and strong communication abilities. An excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, is required, with knowledge of other languages considered a plus.
