Data Labeller - Japanese Visual Content (12-month contract)

The role involves collaborating closely with AI Research and AI Platform teams to deliver in-language AI evaluations, dataset creation, and quality assurance across Canva's key markets.
In this position, the Data Labeller will be responsible for labelling, annotating, and evaluating various visual content types—including photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs—in Japanese. Tasks include assessing AI-generated content for linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance, as well as building and contributing to language-specific datasets to support the internationalisation of Canva's AI features. The role requires managing multiple concurrent projects, meeting delivery timelines, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
Candidates should possess native proficiency in Japanese and have a strong eye for visual communication. Experience in language quality evaluation is advantageous.
