Data Scientist (Growth Team)
Capital on Tap is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Growth Team in London. This role focuses on enhancing customer acquisition, activation, and retention strategies through data-driven insights. As part of a dynamic team, the Data Scientist will collaborate closely with the Head of Growth to influence the company's growth trajectory.
In this position, the Data Scientist will develop and maintain predictive models that impact the entire customer lifecycle, from acquisition to retention. They will analyze complex datasets to uncover opportunities for smarter decision-making and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. The role also involves staying updated on the latest data science tools and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, with at least two years of experience in building statistical models using Python and SQL. A 2:1 or higher degree in a quantitative field from a reputable university is required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen interest in applying data science to commercial challenges.
