Deputy City Solicitor – Real Estate and Development Unit

The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Deputy City Solicitor to join its Real Estate and Development Unit within the Law Department. This role involves providing legal counsel to various city departments, including Parks and Recreation, Public Property, Commerce, Free Library, Records, Streets, Office of Homeless Services, Art Commission, Planning Commission, Managing Director’s Office, and the Mayor’s Office. The attorney will be expected to become familiar with the City’s Home Rule Charter and the Philadelphia Code to effectively advise clients on structuring, negotiating, and documenting transactions.
