WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work closely with Design Leaders to scope roles, understand team needs, and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Manage the entire hiring process end-to-end, from initial outreach to final offer
- Independently evaluate design portfolios and qualify candidates before looping in hiring managers
- Design and implement a systematic, data-driven recruitment process aligned with both individual role requirements and the company's long-term goals
- Build, maintain, and continually expand a strong network of top-tier design talent for future hiring needs
- Strengthen our employer brand and help position the company as a top employer for designers
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process
- Leverage your experience to identify opportunities for process optimisation and introduce best practices across the hiring lifecycle
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- A strong drive for excellence and a continuous improvement mindset
- Proven in-house experience recruiting for design roles at a tech company, with full ownership of a design hiring function
- The ability to independently evaluate a design portfolio without direction from a hiring manager
- A track record of sourcing independently, building pipelines from scratch, and managing stakeholders with strong opinions
- Fluency in design craft language, you can assess and articulate what makes a strong designer
- Measurable delivery across key hiring metrics: time-to-fill, time-to-hire, pipeline conversion, and offer acceptance
