WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work closely with Engineering Leaders to scope roles, understand team needs, and develop effective sourcing strategies
- Manage the entire hiring process end-to-end, from initial outreach to final offer
- Own engineering hiring across backend, frontend, DevOps, and data science
- Qualify candidates credibly before looping in hiring managers, without needing requirements translated
- Design and implement a systematic, data-driven recruitment process aligned with both individual role requirements and the company's long-term goals
- Build, maintain, and continually expand a strong network of top-tier engineering talent for future hiring needs
- Strengthen our employer brand and help position the company as a top employer for engineers
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process
- Leverage your experience to identify opportunities for process optimisation and introduce best practices across the hiring lifecycle
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- A strong drive for excellence and a continuous improvement mindset
- Proven in-house experience recruiting for engineering roles at a tech company, with full ownership of a technical hiring function
- Breadth across engineering disciplines, backend, frontend, DevOps, and data science
- The ability to assess technical candidate strength without running the technical assessment yourself
- Technical literacy: you can understand how software is built and shipped, and engage engineering leaders as a peer
