DevOps Architect
Gong is seeking a DevOps Architect to shape the infrastructure strategy behind its Revenue AI platform. This pivotal role involves driving architectural direction, enhancing operational excellence, and enabling engineering teams to scale effectively. The position is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and offers a flexible hybrid work model.
The DevOps Architect will define and evolve Gong's cloud and infrastructure architecture across Kubernetes, networking, observability, security, and data platforms. Responsibilities include establishing clear standards and scalable best practices, identifying and resolving cross-team technical debt, and leading critical infrastructure initiatives focused on reliability, scalability, security, observability, and cost optimization.
Candidates should have over 8 years of hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure at scale, including strong Kubernetes expertise and distributed systems knowledge. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies using tools like Terraform, Crossplane, or Pulumi is essential. Additionally, strong programming skills in Python or Go are required to build tools, prototypes, and automation as needed.
