As a Digital Commerce Strateeg at WPP Media in Eindhoven, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative retail media strategies for leading A-brands such as Unilever, Henkel, and Nestlé. This role requires a deep understanding of retail media, marketplaces, and the intersections with social and agentic commerce to drive both performance and branding objectives. You will collaborate closely with clients at both brand and trade levels, client leads, and a team of specialists to create and manage campaigns that not only boost sales but also foster sustainable growth.

Your key responsibilities will include transforming complex media and sales data into strategic advice and actionable plans in the areas of Retail Media, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce, with the ultimate goal of exponentially growing our clients' businesses. You will develop and present compelling, innovative commercial strategies and proposals that exceed client expectations and set new market standards. Additionally, you will lead the establishment of ambitious annual objectives and joint business plans, deepening relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments to ensure mutual success for clients, WPP Media, and partners. Maintaining oversight of a diverse portfolio of campaigns, ensuring strategic consistency, and making necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results will also be part of your role. As a thought leader, you will proactively share the latest trends, developments, and best practices within Commerce with clients and internal teams, inspiring continuous innovation.

The ideal candidate is a strategically minded expert with experience in an agency environment, particularly with local retailers such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Kruidvat, and Bol. You should excel in stakeholder management, effortlessly operating at various levels, serving as a sought-after sparring partner, and successfully uniting complex interests. Your consultative selling skills will enable you to advise at the highest level, proactively identify opportunities, and build long-term strategic partnerships. A strong commercial acumen is essential, combining in-depth media insights with a keen business sense to achieve concrete results. Even in a dynamic environment, you should maintain composure, set the right priorities, and lead projects to success.
