Digital Platform Manager (m/w/d)
As a Digital Platform Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital solutions tailored to customer and market requirements, ensuring they deliver substantial value. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and laboratory teams to create market-oriented solutions, prepare go-to-market strategies, and oversee their successful implementation with clients. This position is a strategic interface role with a strong focus on market and customer needs, rather than an IT development or administrative position.
Your primary responsibilities will include translating market, sales, and customer service requirements into clear system specifications, prioritizing these in collaboration with relevant departments. You will manage the advancement of our platforms in alignment with business objectives, develop use cases and business cases, and monitor their benefits, costs, and impacts. Additionally, you will serve as the central point of contact for digital solutions, support departments in utilizing systems, and coordinate the technical implementation of requirements in close cooperation with internal and external IT teams. Ensuring system functionality, testing new features in pre-production environments, documenting outcomes, and approving changes for production deployment are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in IT, natural sciences, or economics, or have equivalent qualifications. Experience in a role bridging technical and operational areas is essential. A strong understanding of digital applications, processes, and their interdependencies is required, along with analytical and strategic thinking skills and a solution-oriented approach. Excellent communication abilities, persuasive power, and a confident demeanor are necessary. Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and MS Office is expected. Flexibility and willingness to undertake occasional business trips are important, as are fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken.
