Directeur de Business Unit - Bilingue Anglais (H/F)
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead our laboratory specializing in the analysis of water-contact devices. This role involves overseeing a team of 15 professionals and managing an annual revenue of approximately 3 million euros. The laboratory is located in Maxéville (54) and focuses on testing products to ensure sanitary compliance.
The Business Unit Manager will be responsible for supervising and developing both managerial and non-managerial staff, driving business growth by defining and implementing strategic plans in coordination with the General Management, and expanding the client portfolio across Europe. Additional duties include ensuring the unit's profitability with support from the financial control department, managing contracts and tenders in anticipation of new regulations expected in 2027, leading site transformations and improvements through LEAN initiatives, and establishing and maintaining Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies, along with relevant certifications and accreditations.
Candidates should possess a general higher education degree and demonstrate proven managerial experience, particularly in entity management. A strong inclination towards client relations and business development is essential. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader with excellent communication skills, capable of balancing hands-on involvement with strategic oversight to achieve objectives. A passion for tackling ambitious challenges and an entrepreneurial spirit are highly valued. Fluency in both spoken and written English is mandatory due to significant European engagements.
This is a full-time, permanent position (CDI) with a fixed salary over 12 months, complemented by performance-based variable compensation. Additional benefits include a company vehicle, vacation bonus, meal vouchers, and corporate health insurance.
