Director, Clinical AI Technologies
The Director of Clinical AI Technologies at Structure Therapeutics will lead the strategy, implementation, and scaling of artificial intelligence solutions to enhance clinical trial execution and performance. This role focuses on integrating AI into daily Clinical Development Operations to improve study delivery, site performance, patient engagement, and data quality. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Operations, the Director will collaborate across teams to ensure impactful AI integration.
Key responsibilities include evaluating, designing, and executing a roadmap for AI integration across Clinical Development Operations, prioritizing high-impact areas. The Director will identify and prioritize AI use cases to improve trial execution, embed AI tools into core Clinical Operations workflows, and define and track key performance indicators to measure the return on investment of AI implementations. Additionally, the role involves overseeing vendor evaluation, selection, and management for AI-enabled clinical technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or contract research organization settings. This includes at least 5 years of experience in AI/machine learning, advanced analytics, or digital health initiatives. Experience leading or participating in AI projects within clinical or biomedical domains, a strong understanding of clinical trial processes, and the ability to translate them into AI solutions are essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for AI in clinical trials are also required.
Structure Therapeutics offers a competitive compensation package, with an anticipated base salary range of $237,000 to $285,000. The exact base pay will depend on factors such as the candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
