The Director of Customer Onboarding at Tipalti will lead a high-performing team dedicated to enhancing the customer onboarding experience. This role involves collaborating with leadership to exceed departmental and company goals, while defining a strategic roadmap for onboarding excellence. The focus is on leveraging emerging technologies to drive scalability and efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities include driving customer adoption, minimizing time-to-live, and improving implementation quality. The Director will recruit and manage Onboarding Managers, oversee direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and track team objectives. A significant aspect of the role is utilizing AI and automation technologies to optimize and automate the onboarding journey, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in implementation and/or Customer Success is required, with a strong background in delivering customer projects at scale. Proven experience in ERPs and/or the Fintech space is essential, along with a strong understanding of data analytics, process automation, and the practical application of AI in a Customer Success or Onboarding environment. Exceptional communication, escalation handling, and interpersonal skills are also necessary.

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $136,000 to $195,000 annually.
