Director - Digital
The Director - Digital at WPP Media is a leadership role within EssenceMediacom, a leading WPP Media brand. This position involves managing a dynamic team and collaborating with bold, ambitious clients to drive innovative digital media strategies. The role is based in Mumbai, India, and reports directly to the Client Leader.
Key responsibilities include developing a thorough understanding of clients' businesses, including their key performance indicators and challenges. The Director will manage the day-to-day output of the team, ensuring high-quality and responsive client service. Establishing relationships with key media owners and collaborating with internal specialist teams are also essential aspects of the role. Additionally, the Director will lead planning responses from insight and strategy through to execution and provide timely feedback and appraisals to direct reports.
The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in media agency, marketing, or brand management. A strong understanding of digital media, digital planning, and performance marketing is essential. Leadership skills, excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities are required. Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, along with a passion for learning and openness to new challenges, are also important.
