Director, Internal Communications
WPP Media, the world's largest media investment company, is seeking an experienced communicator with a passion for building employee culture to be our Director of Internal Communications in the U.S. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Communications, this role will be instrumental in shaping and delivering WPP Media's internal communications and employee experience as a key member of the marketing and communications organization.
The Director of Internal Communications will develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and strengthen company culture. Responsibilities include managing change communications for major organizational initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional counterparts to create integrated communications plans, overseeing internal communications channels, and partnering with senior leadership to develop and deliver executive communications.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in internal communications or employee engagement. A bachelor's and advanced degree in a related field are both pluses, as are any industry certifications or awards for outstanding work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for diverse employee audiences. Proven experience in developing and executing strategic internal communications plans that drive employee engagement and support organizational change is also required.
