Tipalti is seeking a visionary Director of KYC and Compliance Onboarding to lead the transformation of its compliance operations into a strategic engine for global growth. Reporting to the VP of Customer Onboarding, this pivotal role involves designing a seamless Know Your Customer (KYC) process that balances rigorous compliance with an exceptional user experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in evolving Tipalti's onboarding architecture to support the company's next phase of hyper-growth.

Key responsibilities include developing and owning the strategic vision for Tipalti's KYC/KYB processes, ensuring operational standardization across a global team of analysts, and championing a customer-centric approach throughout the compliance lifecycle. The role also entails leading cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, Product, and Legal teams, implementing advanced RegTech tools, spearheading AI and automation initiatives, and establishing robust quality assurance frameworks and performance analytics.

The ideal candidate will possess a customer-first mindset with a proven track record in designing compliance processes that enhance user experience. They should demonstrate exceptional process engineering skills, visionary leadership, and at least 12 years of experience in Compliance or Financial Crime, including successful deployment of large-scale technical solutions and third-party integrations. A strong background in technology and innovation, with experience in implementing automation tools, is essential. Deep knowledge of international AML/KYC standards and relevant certifications such as CAMS or CFE are desired.

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $147,000 to $210,000 annually, with a target bonus of 15% of the base salary.
