This role involves overseeing the development of our flagship EDR product, which is central to our mission of protecting businesses from cyber threats. The Director will report to the Vice President of Engineering and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and excellence.

The Director will be responsible for delivering scalable and performant EDR solutions, balancing immediate customer needs with long-term product evolution. Key duties include driving the technical roadmap, implementing best practices, and ensuring the product can accommodate rapid growth and increased user demand. Additionally, the role involves attracting, recruiting, and retaining top engineering talent, as well as hiring and coaching engineering managers to build and sustain high-performing teams.

A deep understanding of organizing engineering teams for iterative customer value delivery, along with proficiency in methodologies such as hypothesis-driven development, Shape Up, Scrum, and Kanban, is required. Strong skills in hiring, team building, coaching managers, and performance management are also necessary.
